I am running for state senate because we need legislators who are willing to be of the people and for the people. I am disappointed with the direction our state is going as well as with legislators who continue passing unconstitutional and right infringing bills.
As an educator and school board member, I plan to fight for parent and student rights in schools. I believe in being a unifier of all citizens, common sense policy, a voice for the people and not the political elites, and having the ability to understand people's struggles. I've experienced the challenges that come with health issues for myself and with my immediate family members, being out of work, losing a home, homelessness, losing a child, and being from an immigrant family. Unlike my opponent, I want to work to maintain citizen rights and their ability to exercise their God given rights to exist and live freely without unconstitutional government overreach.
